Next month, Stylus will be speaking at Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) in Las Vegas (July 9-11). The largest B2B beauty trade show in the Americas brings together brands, suppliers, manufacturers and buyers from the cosmetics & personal care and spa & wellness industries.
New areas at this year’s show include Discover Green Leaf – dedicated to eco-friendly, natural and organic brands; and Discover Pro Beauty – a platform for innovative beauty start-ups to meet with prospective buyers and salon operators. CPNA also announced an expanded collaboration with global shopping network QVC, helping niche independent brands connect with buyers and culminating in a live television segment called Discovered at CPNA.
The trade show is accompanied by a programme of educational events and panel discussions. These include the Professional Beauty Association’s Business Forum, encompassing keynote speeches from retired US basketball legend turned entrepreneur Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson; the North American Hairstyling Awards; and the inaugural BeautyID Awards – a new platform from CPNA and Beauty Packaging Magazine. The awards celebrate creativity in cosmetics packaging design, materials and product formulation.
Shannon Davenport, Stylus’ head of advisory, US, will be presenting Next-Gen Beauty Packaging: an exploration of the latest packaging strategies and visual directions underlining consumers’ new beauty and grooming needs. Join us on Monday July 10 at 2pm to find out how to anticipate and respond to key consumer-led shifts, manufacturing innovations and material developments that will shape the market.
