A contemplative outlook and quest for wellbeing drives Restore’s calm and comforting direction. Soft, intuitive and seemingly simple, it is more sophisticated than its predecessor, Renew S/S 16, appealing to the consumer looking inwardly towards the self and the home.

A mindful approach sees everyday materials and products elevated into items of understated luxury – refreshing this sector with value placed on readdressing our daily rituals and restoring comfort.

Playing with perspective, Outline is defined by reflective surfaces and discreetly engineered designs. Evolving from our S/S 16 Design Direction, Trace, transformative qualities are produced through harnessing and reflecting light across minimal frames and graphic forms.

Motivated by innovation, the direction is key across the industrial sectors as materials are given fresh and unexpected applications that focus on high-performance results. The dynamic aesthetic results in stimulating product stories that appeal to consumers in constant motion.

Evolving from our Autumn/Winter 2016-17 Colour Spectrum, we examine the key hues for our A/W 16-17 Product Design Directions – Restore, Layer and Outline.

Soft, fleshy tones evoking a skin-like, feminine aesthetic underpin Restore’s relaxing palette, while offbeat colour combinations bring graphic and playful applications to Layer’s refreshing spectrum. Illuminating shades and metallics inspire the Outline colour story, in a direction driven by light reflections and shadow.
