Paris Couture S/S 11

Extra

The Armani Privé spring/summer 11 couture collection, which was shown on the catwalk yesterday in Paris, followed a sleek, futuristic theme. Models' bodies were wrapped in shimmery metallic materials with a petroleum-like sheen. Tailored jackets, leggings and hats created a sharp and clean silhouette.

Meanwhile, John Galliano at Dior showed a nostalgic collection. Dense layers of tulle and feathers and a colour palette of bright crimson and chiaroscuro pastels created a decidedly feminine feel.
