We’re looking for a Salesforce whizz who loves implementing effective business processes. As a seasoned data expert, you’ll be responsible for managing our key Sales and Marketing systems, and providing training, support and guidance on how best to use them.


Key responsibilities

Database Management 

  • Improve the effectiveness of the Salesforce database
  • Segment and manage data profiling lists coupled with the ability to develop and document processes and workflows to improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness
  • Understand and ensure effectiveness of current and future data integrations between CRM and other systems (including apps)
  • Cross reference data across the difference systems that feed into Salesforce (Marketo, Outreach, Hubspot)
  • Ensure all the data complies with legal regulations and supporting the GDPR compliance initiative 
  • Monitor database performance
  • Build new databases and managing data suppliers 
  • Monitor data entry procedures

Process management and Data quality

  • Create and amend Salesforce workflows
  • Capture and record new processes, upkeep of process documentation, and communications to affected personnel
  • Support and coordinate continual improvement in the maintenance of company data across systems 

Reporting systems

  • Expert user and trainer on Salesforce. Produce regular and ad hoc reports; define, build and roll-out new reports according to business needs
  • Create and maintain Stylus reporting systems to streamline and improve transparency; continual improvement of systems used including; Salesforce, Marketo, Hubspot and Tableau 
  • Create and build Salesforce dashboards to support sales performance and forecasting

Inter-departmental communication 

  • Communicate CRM/data priorities to company and wider team to support effective cooperation in existing and new activities and lead on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Central point of contact for sales and marketing staff for customer-facing system issues, including investigation and resolution

Systems support and End-User training

  • Day-to-day support and maintenance of all sales and marketing systems, including user set-up and training, data accuracy and integrity, back-ups and disaster recovery processes
  • Co-ordination of sales and marketing system training and best practice documentation; co-ordination of project and system change requests log including priority and status

Business Projects

  • Undertake projects as directed by the Marketing or Sales Manager to investigate, analyse and implement change/develop functionality in line with strategic objectives; provide Managers with impact assessment / options for decision-making Automation support 
  • Provide technical development, delivery and support to the Marketing Team through advanced configuration, reports and workflow


Required skills & qualifications


  • Salesforce Administrative Level qualified as a minimum
  • Understanding of data integrations between CRMs and other systems
  • Previous experience of marketing automation systems (Marketo would be advantageous)
  • Tableau and SQL experience desirable
