The Joseph Pre-Fall showing ticked several of the season’s key trend boxes – from cosy, athleisure-inspired knits (perfect for early deliveries) to off-kilter proportions, as seen in other influencer shows this season.
Luxe wools and lightweight shearlings upped the cocooning factor for a selection of timeless outerwear shapes – true investment pieces that beat the vagaries of fashion’s never-ending trend carousel. Silhouettes were relaxed and easy – from the mannish, wide-cut cropped trousers, to signature tunic knits and slouched sports-style pants. These were offset with simple slip dresses and layered camisoles in a cool, androgynously styled mix.
Details from satin tux stripes to pie-crust ruffled collars and casual, but functional drawstring waists brought that same masculine-feminine attitude into play. Meanwhile, the season-neutral palette hits the sweet spot with pops of winter-fruit brights.
