2015: Look Ahead - Consumer Lifestyle

New family dynamics – shaped by nomadic millennials, power boomers and school-age tech titans – sent ripples of excitement through the Consumer Lifestyle team this year. These transitions pushed us into rich conversations with academics, industry experts and market research heads, and towards under-the-radar tech concepts that nimbly respond to these evolving behaviours – from flexible foam headphones to temporary digital tattoos.

In 2015, we'll be deepening our understanding of the forces influencing consumer mindsets; tackling new demographics (nought to four-year-olds), tribes (activistas and the modern everywoman) and regions (south-east Asia); and expanding our global events coverage to strengthen our focus on luxury and health.
