Colour Nativity

London-based industrial designer Sebastian Bergne has released a limited-edition nativity scene that uses colour and proportion to denote the characters in the Christmas story.

Released in an edition of six signed and numbered boxed sets, the painted beech objects play on our previous knowledge of the figures included in the nativity to create a minimal interpretation of the festive scene. Stripping back all detail, Bergne’s set shows how significant the language of colour can be.

The set is £135 and is available from Bergne’s online shop.
