Lionel Estève’s Kinetic Colour

There Are No Circles – the latest installation by French artist Lionel Estève at the Fondation d'Entreprise Hermès, Brussels – consists of coloured beads and baubles suspended on threads.

A motor causes the threads to spin, creating a spherical structure that expands to fill the gallery space. When activated, the colours of the sculpture become blurred together, with disorientating effects. The exhibition is open until July 2.
