Constance Guisset: Francis Mirror

French designer Constance Guisset reinvents the cosmetic mirror by adding washes of pigment beneath the glass surface in Francis – a series of pocket and wall-mounted mirrors for boutique furniture manufacturer Petite Friture.

Guisset’s series comes in two different colourways – a blue and indigo palette and a yellow and red palette – transporting cosmetic colours from the viewer’s reflection and into the object itself.

The collection is due to be showcased at the forthcoming Maison & Objet homes and interiors trade show, held in Paris from September 9-11 2011.
