Turning Pink

The experimental exhibition space W/ Gallery in New York’s China Town has just turned pink courtesy of architects Leong Leong - best known for designing the Opening Ceremony boutique at the Ace Hotel, New York and stores for fashion designer Philip Lim in LA and Seoul.

The temporary installation explores the translation of a standard shape into a continuous visual field - achieved by blending four shaped entryways, a bright pink ridged wall surface and carefully placed mirrors.

From the street the installation appears to glow and once inside, the boundaries of the space appear undefined like a never-ending funhouse maze.
