Chaves’ Invisible Shoe

Brazilian conceptual footwear designer Andreia Chaves has launched her first commercial studio series, The Invisible Shoe, during New York Fashion Week.

Made up of fragmented reflective materials that create a mosaic effect, the shoe explores the concept of invisibility by reflecting its surroundings, adapting and camouflaging the foot like a chameleon.

The limited-edition shoe is available in two styles, each handmade in Italy using a combination of leather crafting and 3D-printing techniques, in collaboration with Dutch Company FOC (Freedom Of Creation).
