Still the accessories of the moment, audio brands are continuing to reinvent their models through elegant styling, thoughtful additions and technological improvements.
Alexander Wang x Beats by Dre
Well known for their design collaborations, US brand Beats by Dre’s latest pairing is with US fashion designer Alexander Wang. The special edition collection includes a Beats Pill speaker, in-ear buds and Studio Headphones all in a matt black and rose gold finish – synonymous with Wang’s style.
“Following on from Alexander Wang’s previous successful accessory collaborations, it’s exciting to see his modern street luxe aesthetic applied to the world of consumer electronics," says Joanna Shiers, Fashion editor at Stylus. "It’s also a great way for his fans to buy into his brand at a more accessible pricepoint.”
Humlan by UrbanEars
The latest addition to the colourful audio range from Swedish brand Urbanears features a practical addition to a standard headphone. The fabric headband and ear cushions on the Humlan can be removed and washed allowing your headphones to last that little bit longer.
Quiet Comfort 20 by Bose
Promising to rival their successful noise-cancelling headphones, US-based audio company Bose has brought this technology into their earbuds with the Quiet Comfort 20. A specially designed rubber ear-tip allows for a comfortable and well-sealed fit whilst safety-conscience listeners can make use of the earbuds “aware mode” toning down the noise-cancellation and keeping you in tune with your surroundings.
