Josef Schulz: Formen

Polish photographer Josef Schulz’s Formen series of architectural photographs manipulate buildings’ recognisable features, such as windows, signage and doorways, until the structures become unrecognisable.

Schulz treats the buildings as abstracted structures that act as a canvas for planes of colour, resulting in surreal landscapes with vivid, abbreviated colour palettes.
