Muireann Walshe: Anodised Jewellery

Emerging British jeweller Muireann Walshe showed a collection of rings and brooches as part of One Year On at the New Designers graduate show in London last month.

Walshe’s range of aluminium jewellery is comprised of layered graphic shapes with contrasting coloured detailing of zig-zags, punched circles and domes. The pieces are anodized in beautiful saturated hues with scientific and futuristic overtones.

These themes are further explored in the Stylus Colour Spectrum Autumn/Winter 2013-14 rationale Hyper Real
