Light Loom by Canon at Milan

Canon has presented experimental installations exploring light and digital image at Milan since 2008. This year’s presentation, Light Loom, was realised in collaboration with Japanese Architects Torafu, and WOW visual design studio.

Inspired by spools of yarn that feed into a weaving loom, the installation was created using string under tension to create 3D screens. Abstract clouds of coloured light were projected onto the string suspensions, creating dazzling overhead effects.

Exhibiting at Superstudio Piu in the Zona Tortona district of Milan since April 12, the exhibition will continue until April 17.
