Illustrated Leather

Illustrator Paul Wearing has collaborated with his brother Nigel, a designer and leather expert based in LA, to create a sweeping interior wall that incorporates both creative disciplines.

The pair have previously created a bar unit using a similar technique, in order to test the idea, but this will be the first time their joint skills have been applied to such a large area or with such dramatic impact. The wall is scheduled to be installed in a house in Hollywood but the plan is to take it to exhibitions and events in LA throughout the winter design season first.

Wearing comments that "the design is the first of several designs inspired by an interest in mid-century aesthetics".
