Our perception of luxury is changing as designers re-evaluate high-end aesthetics and the definition of what is desirable and beautiful. Pressure on the world's resources is prompting a shift towards the use of long-lasting components instead of traditionally rich materials. We seek to produce objects that are considered luxurious because of their design excellence and craftsmanship rather than their rarity.
Projects that challenge material perceptions and devise new manufacturing techniques are addressed in our two key themes, Dual-Function Materials and Industrial Fluidity.
