What the Hella?

What The Hella? Is a new sustainable hair removal concept by New York design firm The Way We See The World (TWWSTW).

Designed to help the communities of the Yucatan Peninsula, who harvest a natural material called Chicle latex, What The Hella? has the potential to preserve their indigenous culture while providing a viable economic export. TWWSTW experimented with the Chicle and found it made a great home-epilating system.

The prototype set includes Chicle body wax, Chicle and copal aromatherapy incense, and a sapodilla-scented soap and oil to remove excess wax. The packaging is pretty special, too.
