Beyond Meat’s Chicken-Free Strips

Beyond Meat, a US company that specialises in the production of soy and plant-based protein products, has developed Chicken-Free Strips – a meat-free food that mimics the texture and taste of meat.

Backed by Twitter co-founders Evan Williams and Biz Stone, Chicken-Free Strips is gaining popularity for its healthy qualities and detailed imitation of chicken. Retailing at less than the real deal, Beyond Meat’s plant-based products are considered a more environmentally sustainable alternative to chicken. The product is also dairy, cholesterol and gluten free.

According to the website, the strips will fool your tastebuds with the authentic chicken taste and texture. The company has plans to roll out meat-free ground beef in the near future.
