John Lewis’ Royal Training

Following on from its unique bed-making classes (see earlier thread) and in anticipation of all the impending street parties to celebrate the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton, London department store John Lewis is currently offering customers Royal Wedding Table Dressing classes.

Throughout April (until the big day on the 29th), visual merchandisers at the retailer’s London flagship on Oxford Street will provide expert tips and product advice on creating the perfect celebration. With the aim of keeping all revellers happy, as an additional spin, the classes will focus on two separate styles: a classic royal banquet for indoor parties, and a more casual, 1930s-inspired look for outdoor events.
