British Vogue’s iPad App Goes Monthly

Since its inauguration in November 2010, British fashion publication Vogue has published three issues for the iPad but it is now going to be publishing monthly digital editions of the print magazine, starting with its September issue available to purchase this month.

The International Collections issue is the most important issue of the year for fashion publications, and the new iPad version of the magazine offers readers the chance to delve deeper into the magazine’s features.

In addition to the print content, there is also an exclusive film directed by American photographer Bruce Weber featuring Australian actress Mia Wasikowska in behind-the-scenes footage of Vogue’s Olympic-themed shoot. There is also audio content to support the trends report, with Vogue experts and editors supplying commentary to the seasonal overview.

The Vogue iPad app, published by Conde Nast Digital, is available now to download from iTunes for £2.99 ($4.70), with a rolling monthly subscription available for £2.49 ($3.90) and a 1-year subscription for £23.99 ($37.56).
