Nike Ices Pop-up

Based perhaps on the notion that if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, sporting super brand Nike has opened a pop-up store in Harlem, New York providing refreshments (alongside its sporty merchandise) for sweltering city-dwellers still suffering in the current heat wave.

Boulevard Ice by Nike Basketball is entered through the kind of double refrigerator doors that you’d expect to find in a food store, and its icy air conditioning offers a delicious respite from the soaring temperatures outside.

As well as a selection of $1 (60p) ice creams, customers can customise Nike Basketball products in the space, which is decorated with murals of basketball sporting heroes.
