Europe's First Hyatt Place

Europe's first Hyatt Place will be opened in Amsterdam in 2013.

The Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport will be located in Hoofddorp, close to Amsterdam Schiphol airport, and will have 330 rooms. Guests will receive complimentary WiFi access, a complimentary continental breakfast and access to a StayFit@Hyatt fitness center and a Grab 'n Go stocked with sandwiches and salads. Its Guest Kitchens will offer visitors breakfast, lunch and dinner around the clock.

The Hyatt Place brand made its debut in 2006 and currently has 160 hotels in the US, with 30 under development in the US, India, Panama and Costa Rica. To date the brand has prided itself on recognising that travellers appreciate uncompromising hotel services.

However, the Hyatt Place hotels do not offer a flexible check-in service like that introduced earlier this year at Novotel's Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport hotel. This flexible check-in service allows guests to check-in at any time of day for 24 hours without incurring additional costs. With travel at a premium, such cost-saving opportunities are likely to prove particularly attractive to travellers.
