Chanel Les Vernis S/S 2012 Nail Colours

Chanel has revealed the new colours for its Les Vernis Nail Colours Spring/Summer 2012 collection, which goes on sale in January 2012.

Debuted at the Chanel S/S 2012 catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week last week, the new shades are April, a fuchsia pink; May, a sugary, candyfloss pink; and June, a fresh tangerine shade. Attraction – a pearly, white shade specially created for the show – will be sold in limited editions from May 2012. The summery, ultra-feminine shades reflect the pretty aesthetic of Chanel S/S 2012 and the general ladylike trend seen over the course of fashion month.

The Chanel nail colours are always extremely coveted beauty releases for the season, with the launch of previous shades such as the taupe Particuliere for S/S 2010 and yellow Mimosa for S/S 2011 creating extensive waiting lists. Often an indication of the direction nail shades will take for the season, Chanel’s Les Vernis nail colours have become one of the most definitive releases for cosmetic colour inspiration.
