Hyatt-owned boutique hotel chain Andaz has launched a website that invites guests to interact with the locality of the hotel before they have even arrived. The website is the next phase of the company’s cultural programme, Andaz Salon, which aims to engage guests through cultural events unique to each hotel. 

The virtual Andaz Salon will bring the local neighbourhood to life online through editorial content that showcases the charm and uniqueness of each hotel’s community. To stay connected with guests before, during and after their stay, the website will serve as a platform for discussion about art, culture, music, fashion and film. 

Andaz has also introduced Cultural Insiders, who will provide authentic insight into the creative industries. Stephanie Roach, director of New York-based visual arts organisation The Flag Art Foundation, will serve as the first Cultural Insider, hosting events at Andaz West Hollywood and Andaz 5th Avenue, as well as contributing to the new website.
