Post 42: Vintage Americana

LA-based designer Matt Winter looks set to build on an already impressive reputation for interiors styled with a vintage Americana flavour with the launch of Post 42.

The retail-cum-workspace housed in a World War II barracks in La Bread district of California, is positioned in the makeshift shelter of a Quonset Hut (corrugated steel structures used by American soldiers during World War II). The store,  which also doubles as Winter’s design studio, sells a mix of old and new goods – from bags made from recycled army tents, to reclaimed furniture and workwear-inspired fashion.

Winter’s previous projects include rustic LA bars Thirsty Cow and Bigfoot West.
