Matthew Williamson for Macy's

Colourful British fashion designer Matthew Williamson launched his debut collection for US department store Macy's yesterday.

Featuring printed and colour-blocked scarves, tops, dresses and skirts, the 1970s-inspired collection is in keeping with the designer's youthful and exuberant feel, but at a lower price point, ranging from $24 for a scarf, to $300 for a leather biker jacket.

Williamson is the second international designer to partake in a fashion collaboration with Macy's, following a colleciton with London-based Kinder Aggugini earlier this year.
