Pantone Moves Into Plastics
International colour authority Pantone has launched the Pantone Plastic Standard – a collection of 3,400 colour chips for use when specifying plastic colours.
The polypropylene samples have both a gloss and matt finish side and come with a corresponding set of colour data, including pigment formulation and relevant spectral data. Each sample shows the plastic in two varying thicknesses, allowing customers to examine any colour variance that may occur.
Pantone’s expansion into plastics allows customers to co-ordinate colours across mediums. The new range is currently available to order online.
