Dolce & Gabbana Redecorate

Italian fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have conferred a new, no-expense spared, modern man-style aesthetic on their three-storey, menswear only boutique in Milan.

Reconfiguring the layout and redecorating throughout, previously hidden merchandise has been made visible in glass drawers, while black Murano glass chandeliers, stuccoed vaulted ceilings and polished parquet floors all create the feel of a lavish members club.

Its most opulent feature, however, is its “black-tie room” – equivalent to the vanity room in the women's boutique a few streets away. Matching the ladies’ store inch for inch in its plushness and ensconced in yet more velvet, the space is their prime spot for tuxedoes and suiting, but also features underwear and sumptuous silk robes.

Three-way mirrors and mannequins displayed in wood and glass cases present visual stimulation at every turn.
