Thrive Live by Shelf Reliance

Thrive Live is an online cooking show produced by Shelf Reliance – the US company that sells a wide range of emergency preparedness products, such as solar ovens, water purifiers and Thrive – its own brand of long-life foods, which includes dairy, fruit, grains and even desserts.

Bringing the act of survivalism into the mainstream market, Shelf Reliance aims to make long-term food storage an acceptable way of life for everyone. Thrive Live features new recipes developed by Shelf Reliance’s in-house chef Todd Leonard. During the show, he demonstrates his recipes and provides tips and tricks on everyday convenient cooking with Thrive. Featured recipes include cranberry cornbread, gluten-free vanilla cake and chicken potpie.

Food scarcity, economic and environmental instability is inciting consumers to take stockpiling and emergency preparedness seriously. See Survivaliving to see just how far some people will go to be prepared for the end of the world. Edible: A Taste of Things to Come gives insight into the edible landscape of the future.
