Japan’s second largest mobile operator, KDDI, has unveiled the latest Android smartphone from its designer sub-brand, Iida – the InfoBar A01, designed by one of the country’s top industrial designers, Naoto Fukasawa.

The smartphone is only available in Japan and features a new style of smartphone user interface where users can rearrange apps, widgets and photos into interactive tiles on a grid. The Iida InfoBar A01 is due to launch in July 2011.
