Net-A-Sporter Activewear Platform Launches

This month sees the launch of Net-A-Sporter, a sub-site of online luxury retailer, Net-A-Porter.

Offering a mixture of accessible and high-end brands, the new site will expand Net-A-Porter’s existing product offer – which includes Adidas by Stella McCartney, Splendid and Nike – by offering new brands such as US labels Weargrace yoga wear and Ballet Beautiful.

The site will carry 37 brands across 11 sporting disciplines, from tennis and horse riding, to swimming and surfing, to yoga and dance. According to Net-A-Sporter’s senior buyer Candice Fragis, many of the brands were selected not only for their performance qualities, but also for how they might fit in with customers’ post-workout lifestyles, hence the creation of the sub-category 'Après Sport'.

The launch speaks of a wider focus on sports and activewear in both luxury and lower-tier fashion. Keep an eye out for further coverage on Stylus in the coming month.
