A Wax Revolution

Mexican design and architecture firm ROW Studio has completed the design of a new premises for cosmetic waxing and epilation chain Wax Revolution in Mexico City.

Using reflective panelling and brightly hued paint in cyan, magenta and yellow, the studio reinvented the dark basement space using vibrant colours and graphic shapes. The strong colour scheme has a heritage in Mexican design and architecture made prominent by architects such as Luis Barragán.

More information on cyan, magenta and yellow projects can be found in the Stylus report Life in CMYK.
