Prada Film: The Therapy

Italian fashion house Prada debuted its three-minute film The Therapy at Cannes Film Festival yesterday.

Directed by Roman Polanski and starring British acting legends Ben Kingsley and Helena Bonham-Carter, the short film depicts a therapy session where Kingsley is more interested in his patient’s Prada coat than her depiction of an unusual dream.

The purple puffa coat with a fur-trimmed hood is the third star of the film. Kingsley is powerless to resist its appeal, ignoring Bonham-Carter, the film’s wealthy patient, and trying the garment on. The tongue-in-cheek short ends with the bold statement: "Prada Suits Everyone".

In a statement released with the movie, Polanski noted: "It’s refreshing to know there are still places open to irony and wit and, for sure, Prada is one of them."
