Design Hotels Reach 200-Mark

Design Hotels has announced the addition of 35 hotels to its portfolio, bringing the tally up to 200 sites.

The latest addition, The Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam, comes from the team behind Mamilla Hotel in Jerusalem – interior designer Piero Lissoni and world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie.

“This is an exciting year with 200 member hotels and we are delighted that The Conservatorium Hotel marks this occasion,” says Claus Sendlinger, founder and CEO of Design Hotels.

The hotel is set to open in May 2011.
