BA Trials iPads

British Airways’ cabin crew are trialing the use of iPads as a way to improve inflight service. The airline has distributed 100 iPads to crew members who are using them in place of paper passenger lists which can be up to 10 metres long

The iPads include information on passenger preferences, meal options, Executive Club status and previous travel arrangements. BA claims the technology will allow staff to provide a more personalised service.

BA plans to distribute 1,800 iPads to crew from September.
