Armani Hotel Milano
Luxury fashion brand Armani has launched its second hotel – this time in the Italian fashion capital of Milan, following its 2010 debut in Dubai. The hotel welcomed the likes of US actresses Maggie Gyllenhaal and Jessica Alba at its launch party on Thursday, cementing it as the latest celebrity hotel haunt.
Set in the heart of the city, the hotel features 95 luxury rooms and sophisticated suites, an exclusive gym and spa, and a traditional Italian restaurant – all personally designed by Giorgio Armani.
Set within The Palazzo – designed in 1937 by Italian architect and engineer, Enrico A Griffini – initial plans illustrate the building is shaped like the letter ‘A’. Armani plans to open seven more exclusive hotels and three vacation resorts in New York, London, Morocco and Egypt.
