International Anti-Ageing Skincare Conference, London

Stylus’ beauty team will be attending the annual International Anti-Ageing Conference in London (June 7-8) to pick up insights into the current anti-ageing beauty market.
Taking place at the Royal College of Physicians near Regent’s Park, the event will act as a forum for discussion, spurred by presentations on the scientific, regulatory and marketing issues affecting this rapidly developing industry sector.
In particular, we will be searching for advances in science, epigenetics, proteomics, in-vitro cell techniques, the discovery of natural peptides, and new formulas that will significantly alter the ageing process of the skin.
Key conference sessions will explore the ageing process and causes of premature skin ageing, new technologies and treatments for premature skin ageing, and assessment and delivery of anti-ageing skincare benefits.
Elsewhere, the regulation of advances in skincare technology and their efficacy claims will be explored, as will hot-topic issues such as environmental impact (pollution, infrared light) on skin ageing – a theme we explore in our new Macro Trend report The Business of Wellbeing: Beauty 360.
