Marriott has created a hotel-themed online game on social media website, Facebook. In the game, My Marriott Hotel, users run a hotel kitchen. They can hire staff, buy ingredients and oversee food orders from the kitchen. Gamers earn points for happy customers and lose points for poor service.

The game can be played in English, Spanish, French, Arabic and Mandarin. The hotel brand hopes that the game will attract prospective employees by sparking an interest in the hospitality industry to fill 50,000 positions globally by the end of the year.
