Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse at Macy’s

Iconic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld launches a one-off collaboration with US department store chain Macy’s next month. Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse Only at Macy’s features limited-edition womenswear reminiscent of the designer’s signature style.

The Chanel and Fendi designer’s range is described by Macy’s as comprising: “Chic silhouettes, including juxtaposing colours and graphic patterns with tailored tuxedo dresses. Refined dresses, airy tops, modern tweeds and his characteristic high-collared neck are to feature in a colour palette varying from soft pink to shocking pink and from grey to black.” Prices range from $50-$170.

The Lagerfeld collection for the Macy’s Impulse contemporary fashion department follows previous Impulse collaborations with London-based designers Kinder Aggugini and Matthew Williamson. There is speculation that the next such collection will be with Italian designer Giambattista Valli, launching in November.

Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse Only at Macy’s will sell in some 235 Macy’s stores in the US and online at macys.com from August 31.
