Dining Academy

Interior designer Tom Dixon has worked closely with the Royal Academy of Arts, London on the design of a new restaurant for the institution that aims to highlight Britain's wealth of creative talent.
Set to open on January 19, The Restaurant at the Royal Academy of Arts will be part of the Peyton and Byrne restaurant group, serving a menu using prime British ingredients.
The interior – designed by Design Research Studio with London-based Dixon at the helm – will feature a large glass installation housing a selection of sculptures from the Royal Academy’s permanent collection that compliment the surrounding décor.
For lighter meals and drinks, there will be a bar running the length of one wall, constructed from handmade brick and lava stones from Mount Etna in Italy.
