Dripping Colour at Loft in Space

Based in Honolulu, Hawaii, the gallery Loft in Space is hosting an exhibition of works by New York-based artist Craig Costello – more commonly known by the moniker Krink. Specialising in dripping paint and large-scale works, Costello has filled the space with sprayed blue and yellow paint that merges to form an indistinct green.

As well as producing artworks, Costello also produces Krink-branded art supplies, including permanent ink markers and fire extinguishers designed to spray paint onto large areas. His growing popularity indicates a turn towards experimental colour application processes that lead to unexpected and uncontrollable results.
