Gareth Neal's Urban Picnics

Award winning designer Gareth Neal has devised a range of playful objects specifically for London’s first urban picnics, which will be popping up in mystery locations in east London until the end of the summer.

Spearheaded by The Vauxhall collective, the city streets will be temporarily transformed into grassy spaces that encourage Londoners to meet, mix and consume their picnic under the summer sun – where possible – in celebration of the quintessential British weekend.

Objects will be beautifully rendered in birch and embellished with intricate patterns.
