Giles – LFW A/W 2011-12

For his A/W 2011-12 collection, Giles Deacon was in grown up mode as he left behind the quirky aesthetic – think stuffed dinosaurs and graffiti prints – that made him the London hipster's favourite.

Uniformly monochrome looks incorporating slick leathers, lace and matte silks, alongside streamlined skirt and trouser suits in muted creams, worked together to create a mature, luxe elegance.

Colour made a brief appearance at the close of the runway, with vivid prints in teal based tones, and the abundant use of fur – as seen at other A/W shows –  indicates the trend is set to dominate the season ahead.
