This summer, The Poundshop – a pop-up platform for designers to sell products within the £1 ($1.55), £5 ($7.75) and £10 ($15.50) price bands – has gone mobile.
A cart has transported the shop to various events across the UK, including the London Architecture Festival (June 23 to July 8) and the Secret Garden Party (July 19-22).
The Poundshop is an ongoing project by London design studio Good One. It aims to make design products accessible to a wider audience and spotlights a range of designers, from recent graduates to more established designers. More than 30 designers are currently involved.
