Spirit of Fashion Pop-Up Shop

McArthurGlen, a UK developer specialising in designer shopping outlets, has created a touring pop-up shop featuring exclusive collections designed by winners of its inaugural Spirit of Fashion Award last year.

The awards, created in partnership with London’s Royal College of Art, recognise and lend support to emerging British fashion talent. Designers featured include 2010 menswear graduates Matthew Miller and Carolyn Massey, and womenswear designer Rachael Barrett. Each was asked to reinvent a timeless fashion classic – in a bid to demonstrate how it's possible to hit a commercial high note without losing individuality.

The Spirit of Fashion pop-up began its run in London’s Covent Garden in September. It then heads to Manchester, northern England, before ending in Glasgow, Scotland on 20 October. For more on the benefits of nomadic retailing see our Retail report: Brands on Tour.
