ToyToyota App


The Japanese car manufacturer Toyota has released its first product for its new toy brand ToyToyota – an interactive iPhone application for children to enjoy during car journeys.

The mobile game, created by Tokyo-based creative agency Party, uses the smartphone’s GPS function to create a graphic driving route that follows that of the real car. Children control My Car, which follows Papa Car, and score points by steering in the right direction and collecting digital prizes along the way. 

The app is a great move for Toyota, which has successfully acknowledged and marketed the strong link-up potential for toy and automobile manufacturing, while also servicing the needs of children bored by car journeys.
