Maarten De Ceulaer Balloon Bowls

Balloon Bowls, by Belgian designer Maarten de Ceulaer, is a series of vessels created by filling inflated balloons with coloured plaster.
In a similar process to that used in ceramic practice, the balloons act as flexible moulds for the plaster. Finished with a waterproof coating, the bowls are unique in shape, with varied, uncontrollable colour patterns.
