Asos Steps up to the i-Revolution

Coming surprisingly late to the i-revolution, UK-based mass-market fashion e-tailer Asos is set to cosy up with US tech giant Apple with the launch of its first app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

The free app – which follows the previous launch of its Asos Woman's Magazine app earlier this month – is based on shopper-friendly features, such as a “save favourite items for later” tool, and another which allows consumers to locate local drop-off points for returns.

Asos’s latest e-commerce addition follows year-on-year growth of more than 800% in mobile revenue for the company.
