Botanica by Formafantasma

Eindhoven-based studio Formafantasma will present a collection of plastic vessels at Milan next week – the result of an exploration into the polymers, plants and the history of plastics.

Called Botanica, the organic, plant-like forms are designed with natural polymers extracted from plants or animal derivatives in colours evoking nature and traditional materials such as wood, ceramics and metal.

Botanica will be on display at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during Milan design week, which runs from April 12-17.
